Description
This Harry Hank baleen basket is very solid. The weft stitching rises on a diagonal axis. The baleen has a rich brown color. The piece is signed “Harry Hank.” An ivory eagle tops the basket. The beak of the eagle is not carved through. The flair outward from the base gives this little basket a wonderful, eye appealing shape. The piece measures approximately 2.75 x 2.75.
Harry Hank is a son of Marilyn Hank Otton and brother to John Hank, grandson to Eunice and Carl Hank.
